Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry at Holy Cross offers women the opportunity to come together and share their lives and reflect on them as being part of the story of God's salvation. They have Bible studies in the fall and spring, and book studies in summer. They have attended several "Women of Faith" events, where they find strength for their lives in being together with other Christian women to study, worship and praise the Lord. They organize several events each year for congregational women to come together, and bring their friends for Christian friendship.

The new fund raiser for Holy Cross Soul Sisters Women's Ministry is The Mouse Factory.  We work all year long on darling hand-crafted Christmas Church Mice Ornaments which debuted at the 2009 Pumpkin Patch. Each year we will introduce a new mouse “character”. This year’s church mouse “character” is Santa. Throughout the year, we meet monthly to make them. Each month we learn to hand stitch a new mouse body part---for those of you who are seamstresses.  We also have  non-sewing tasks and need many non-seamstresses. These will be plentiful. Each month it’s important for seamstresses and non-seamstresses alike to attend the workshops to hear how it all comes together and get the latest update...Come and see what all the excitement is about.  There’s lots of fun and fellowship.

Ladies, if you missed the previous Mouse Factory Workshops don’t worry! You can still get started on your “mouse journey”---it’s never too late!
