Growing in Faith: By encouraging the education and spiritual growth of our children, youth and adults

New for Women in 2012!

The Women of Holy Cross are planning to meet once a month, at Holy Cross, for either a book club read/review or to view selected movies.  Meetings will be the 2nd Monday of each month, beginning February 13th from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

Our first and second meetings will feature a two-part movie entitled "A Perfect Stranger."  Our first book will be read in March and will be discussed at the April meeting.

Registration is not necessary.  We would love for you to join us!

Women's Events

Holy Cross offers women various opportunities to come together and share their lives and experiences.  Some of the activities are Bible studies, book studies/reviews, movies, retreats, and luncheons.  Many have attended "Women of Faith" events, where they find strength for their lives in being together with other Christian women to study, worship and praise the Lord. Several events are held each year for women to come together, and all are encouraged to bring along their friends for Christian friendship.

Mouse Factory

The Mouse Factory is a project we work all year long to hand-sew Christmas Church Mice Ornaments. They first debuted at the 2009 Pumpkin Patch. Each year we introduce a new mouse “character”. Last year’s church mouse “character” was a Cowboy Santa. Throughout the year, we meet monthly to make them. Each month we learn to hand stitch a new mouse body part---for those of you who are seamstresses. We also have  non-sewing tasks and need many non-seamstresses. These will be plentiful. Each month it’s important for seamstresses and non-seamstresses alike to attend the workshops to hear how it all comes together and get the latest update. Come and see what all the excitement is about.  There’s lots of fun and fellowship.

Ladies, if you missed the previous Mouse Factory Workshops don’t worry! You can still get started on your “mouse journey”---it’s never too late!
