 Curriculum

Holy Cross Kids Preschool utilizes two curriculums: Cait’s Curriculum and Wee Learn Curriculum.

These curriculums contribute to the child’s development and the teacher’s relationship with the child and family.  Holy Cross Kids Preschool supports each child’s spiritual, human and educational growth and development in each of the following areas:  social, emotional, intellectual, physical, language and cognitive.

The curriculum is delivered through planned learning activities appropriate to the children's age and development.  These activities include daily prayer, center play, art and painting activities, block building, reading stories, dress-up, story time, circle time, cooking time, music, learning centers, active outdoor play, special events, and programs.  Through these activities, children have an opportunity to explore math concepts, develop early literacy skills, explore science, develop an appreciation for the arts, learn self-help skills, and develop social skills.   Children have the opportunity to discover themselves and each other in an environment that reflects the principles and teachings of the Christian faith.  Regular and age appropriate Chapel is offered as part of our developmental program.
