Holy Cross BLOGS - How to begin...
A BLOG is a way to communicate and share thoughts on-line on specific topics of interest. Some BLOGS require you to register and some do not for you to participate. BLOGS can also be created that are private areas that require a password in order to participate. WIth BLOGS, you are provided more functions as a user the more you participate (i.e. post and reply with comments). As you participate you will move from being a newbie to a groupie to a senior member.
BLOG participants are encouraged to openly present their views and opinions on topics. BLOGs are meant to be open forums for freely expressing views and opinions, and the new Holy Cross BLOGS are no different. Importantly, there is an automatic function built-in to sensor inappropriate language. We believe that this new BLOG function will provide a safe and rewarding way for adults and teens to communicate and share thoughts to grow in faith.
We are starting with two BLOG topic areas:
1.) Sermon BLOG - Thoughts on Scott's Sermons
Blog is for adults to share additional thoughts and views on the latest sermon topics from Scott Thompson, the new Rector at Holy Cross Church.
Does not require registration to participate, but strongly encouraged for future BLOGS.
2.) Vertical EYC (teens) BLOG - Vertical EYC Hang-Out
Blog is for teens in Vertical EYC to share their thoughts on their faith, events of today, etc., must get password from Nyal Witham to have access.
Requires teens to register AND get the BLOG password from Nyal Witham in order to have access. This BLOG will be moderated and reviewed by Nyal Witham on a regular basis.
