The Rev. Scott Thompson Presents Practical Christian Living Series
(Sugar Land, TX- August 26, 2009) – The Rev’d Scott Thompson, will be presenting a Christian Living Series on the Power of Love. The Love & Marriage series will include topics such as: Spiritual Oneness; Real Love; and Higher Virtues. With more than half of all marriages ending in divorce in America (including couples associated with the church), Scott hopes his “Power of Love’ series will make a difference in the lives of those who attend his messages scheduled for October 4, 11 & 18, 2009. Sunday services at Holy Cross take place at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM with children’s ministry and teen programming at 11:00 AM
The Rev’d Scott Thompson, became Rector at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Sugar Land, in March of 2008. Holy Cross is a Bible based faith community committed to contemporary worship and the liturgy of the Episcopal Church, with ministries for all ages.
Scott and his wife Linda have been married for 19 years and have a 10 year old daughter, Victoria. Scott says “I and the people of Holy Cross Church are looking forward to meeting many new people during the Power of Love series. It’s going to be a total blast.”
